CU ANSCHUTZ WOMEN IN STEM
Women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) is a student-run organization established on the Anschutz Medical Campus in 2015. Our mission is to substantially increase the representation and support of women in STEM disciplines through advocacy, skill building, and fostering allies among our peers.
Nerd Nite Denver
We all know that learning is more fun when you’re drinking and hanging out with friends and colleagues. Thus, Nerd Nite is a monthly event during which experts of all kinds give 20-minute fun-yet-informative presentations across all disciplines – while the audience drinks along.

The mission of Project Bridge is to bridge the communication gap between scientists and their communities by giving researchers the tools and opportunities to foster public interest in scientific research.
March for Science Colorado
The March for Science is a grassroots, all volunteer organized event, meant as a celebration of our passion for science and a call to support and safeguard the scientific community. Denver March for Science is evaluating options for how to best promote our mission going forward and will be meeting to discuss restructuring and collaborating with Project Bridge under a large new umbrella organization (Colorado Science Policy Project).
Science Riot
Science Riot is an outreach program aimed at helping scientists improve their communication skills through the use of comedy. The organization is a non-profit that holds free workshops to train scientists in comedy writing and performance. Denver is one of 8 cities that currently has a Science Riot program.
