about US

500 Women Scientists is a 501(c)(3) organization committed to building an inclusive scientific community dedicated to training a more diverse group of future leaders in science and to use the language of science to bridge divides and enhance global diplomacy.

500 Women Scientists is a grassroots organization composed of groups around the world, called "pods". These independent pods are dedicated to fostering genuine connections in local communities.  While 500 Women Scientists was proudly started in Colorado by CU Boulder alumni, the Denver pod was recently established in 2018 to encourage participation by women in the Denver Metro Area.
